Appearance Changes

I'm not one for promoting changes in policy because "the times have changed," unless that change it to update somethings such as a non-modesty related cultural norm.  There has been an update to recommendations for sister missionary apparel.  Here's to hoping BYU will change its facial hair policy to exclude the dirty 70's porn star mustaches and include cleanly trimmed beards.  If so, I'm sure the LDS cultural ramifications will follow...

nice pics. I'm interested to see if the sisters look any better. Did you read the whole article? It talked about women who were hesitant to join the church because they thought they'd have to dress like the sisters. No one ever thinks that about the elders, because no men wear suits all the time. I never put my finger on it before, but the way sister missionaries dress makes us seem more Amish, and the missionaries are the image of the church for a lot of non-members around the world.
